Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
The Code Company ("we," "us") operates Jiggly. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. Questions: support@jiggly.music.
What we collect
- Purchase details. When you buy, our store provider (Shopify) collects your name, email, and billing information to process the order. Card details go directly to the payment processor โ we never see or store your full card number.
- License and activation data. Activating a license transmits your license key and a non-personally-identifying device fingerprint to our licensing service, so we can bind your seat and prevent abuse. We do not collect the contents of your projects to do this.
- Diagnostics. The app may send anonymized crash and error reports so we can fix bugs. These identify the failure, not you.
- Bug reports you choose to submit. If you send a bug report from the app, the bundle you submit (logs, and anything you attach) is uploaded to our storage.
- Support email. If you email us, we keep the message to help you.
Your creative content and AI features
Jiggly's AI features run against an AI provider you configure with your own credentials ("bring your own AI"). When you use those features, your prompts and audio/project inputs are sent to that provider under their privacy terms โ not stored on our servers. Your music, projects, and files stay on your machine unless you choose to share them.
Who we share it with
We use these service providers ("processors") to run the business; each handles only what its function requires:
- Shopify โ store and payment processing
- Resend โ sending license-key and support email
- Cloudflare โ hosting, security, and email routing
- Keygen โ license activation and seat management
- Sentry โ crash/error diagnostics
- Neon / Fly.io โ database and backend hosting
- The AI provider you configure โ AI-feature requests, under their terms
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies
Our store uses cookies necessary for the cart and checkout to function. The Jiggly desktop app does not use advertising cookies.
Retention & security
We keep purchase and license records for as long as needed to support your license, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable technical measures to protect your data, though no method is perfectly secure.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@jiggly.music and we'll respond as required by law.
International transfers
We operate from the United States; if you use Jiggly from elsewhere, your data is processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
Children
Jiggly is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new date.
